Sooo I went to the track last night and my car ran a 13.9 not too bad for my 2nd run ever at a track! Im hoping once I get my launches down better ill be in the low 13's. I took a video of the last run even tho it wasnt a good pass, I ran a 14.1 . Excuse the poor camera angle etc. I threw the camera on right before I went and didnt have time to adjust it. First time at the track - Watch!
I dont even know what these tires are lol. They came with the wheels when I traded them. Theyre falken something or other, I dont remember the model though. I put em at 30psi at least.
Since I havent taken ANY pics of my turbo setup yet, I snapped a few last night. Ill try to get some better pics in the daytime. Since my camera is broken its hard to see much detail. Anyways, enjoy!
HOT DAMN!!! set up looks sick and you did alot of interior work since the last time i saw your car. grade a shit
I should be getting new tires within a few weeks since mine are horrible right now :-/ Im gonna run a 205 40 R16 which should give me a nice stretch and help correct the minor rubbing issues. I should be able to remove a little camber also to help my tread life. Ill snap some pics when I get em.
You can get them at advance auto parts. Theyre likre $6 each which sucks but they are a lot nicer than the cheaper ones.
I just ordered a new intercooler that is larger and has the inlet and outlets lower so I will be able to run my EK fogs again. Should look sick with the big intercooler and also the fogs!
^ Thanks. Update Woot! I dropped $400 on some new tires today, they should be here in like 3 days. I will do my best to not pull the ebrake on these ones as much cause fuck I forgot how much tires cost lol! It was kinda an emergency situation though... Ill let you decide. Slicks are safe right? Heres what I got. 205/40/R16 should give me a nice stretched wall with a nice low pro look. The intercooler piping is pushing on the bumper pretty hard so it stared to tear where it is bolted to the fender. Since I have a new intercooler that should be here in a few days thats bigger, I will redo the piping too and throw the fog lights back on. While I was in there I took the headlights out to redo the black exterior paint and hide some wiring. Also took it to the car wash and pressure washed it like this for like 5 min Looks niice now tho! I dont know if I ever showed you guys the finished moon cut valve/timing cover. The pics and angle make it look like ass. Sorry for the cell phone pics, Ill do a real shoot soon!
Ive had my SAFC mounted for like 3 months now but not hooked up lol... sooo tonight I took on the task ive been dreading of installing it. The instructions are straight up complicated and there is a lot of potential to fuck it up so I took my time (all 3 hours of it) and did everything right, aka: soldering, shrink wrapping, electrical taping, wire looming etc. Then once I got it all installed I realized Holy Shit, there is a whole somewhat elaborate setup process that I have no idea how to do! After searching google and honda-tech etc. I didnt come up with much info at all so I decided id have to just take my best stab at it as far as sensor input settings. I was sure it would be running horrible cause all the posts I saw online were from a buncha noobs freakin out that their cars were all messed up, but somehow I started it up and everything seems perfect! Happy to finally have this thing up and running, now I just have to wait a while to throw my friends wideband on and tune it. That may be another 3 months too lol but oh well at least I have some bling bling that was only $50 new in box! Crappy horrible 3am cell phone pic:
got the yoko's on today. When they were taking the wheels off tho a stud broke off and I already had 1 broken stud on the other side so I went ahead and replaced them both since I had the day off. Also, I got my new intercooler and mounted it up. Its a total ebay special but my other one was about to make my bumper tear off and this one will let me put the EK fogs back on. I can always upgrade later. Pics soon!
