My 97 EK4 Hatch

Hey,

I'm new to this Forum, looks pretty awesome - I myself run a JDM Community Forum, if any of you guys want to check it out it's called talkJDM.com ... It just started out on 6/21/2006 so not many members yet. I saw that this site also had started out in Mid 2006 which is cool since mine did too, lol. Anyways, about my EK4, I rescued this Hatch from Ricerville a couple months ago - it had 18" Wheels, Ractive Dual Tip Exhaust, and Full of "Gun Shot" decals, lol. I didn't have a camera since my nephew slammed it to the ground and broke it, but I took some pics with my Cell Phone, before I started to work on the car.

I was saving up for awhile, because I knew that the only way I would find a Hatch down here (Florida) would be a Riced Out Hatch, so I needed to take care of that first. In other words, there aren't any Engine Mods just yet, except for the Aftermarket Headers (OEM's were cracked), but I am still saving up money for the Engine Stuff, so dont worry about that. Looks really good, yeah I have the same problem in NY when I start looking for a new car. Any Honda usually has LED Window Squirters, APC seat covers, and is an auto. Can't wait to see another update!

 

Looks awesome bro, I like what youve done with it. I think a spoiler and lip would set of too.

 

^ Yeah ... I just got the Spoon Spoiler on it ... no pics of it just yet ... Im not going to put a Lip on the back instead Imma put Slapsh Guards ... I was thinking of putting the CTR Rear Lip, but dont have the cash for it right nwo, plus since I'm going to be making this a SiR Style EK, then I dont want to go for the CTR Lip ...

Thanks ... I didnt want to go 99-00 cause too many people do that plus is kinda overrated, alsthough, dont get me wrong i love 99-00 too, but 96-98 is better in my eyes ... you know, keep it that year's car, why change? lol ...

thanks bro ... i'm trying to keep it clean, you know ... i got the front SiR Bumper, but I'm not going to install it until I get the rear one (it's in backorder) ... I just got some Splash Guards in yesterday (will be installing those today, hopefully) ...

OOOOOOOOO! That is a very nice setup! I have those Skunk 2's and I really like them...I have the sticker in the same spot as you, lol!
