The car will get a brake job, suspension and alignment prior to the wheels going on. Also there is an area on the left door that I am not completely satsified with, it is a little wavey and upon close inspection you can see some sanding marks so back to the body shop after the hood gets the paintless dent removal done.
I cannot honestly believe someone would walk on another persons car. Thats like hugely disrespectful and honestly whoever did it should be punched in the damn face. What luck to after just painting it, jesus. Honestly tho way to bounce back and not sell it. Its going to be amazing when its done though as you can tell already so keep it rolling and alive
OK, the GSR had the paintless dent removal and it was completed for a little less than said. $425. :spitdrink: However it came out remarkable! I will post pics soon, as the car is at the bodyshop again getting re-color sanded and buffed. There were a couple of areas that needed some touchups, so they agreed to do the whole car. It should be ready early next week. Then I can move on to the interior and suspension.
that paintless dent removal thing is awesome they did it on my dads car and it came out really nice good luck with everything and cant wait for the pics
Cool you Saved $25 Dollars The Body Shop Should Clean Up What the Paintless Dent Remover Missed. Just a Minor Set Back, At Lest your Drive Shaft Didnt Snap Off from your Transmission on the 91fwy. ... :spitdrink: Shit Happens. Dont get Discouraged just Fix It and Keep Building It Better than Before...
Nothing was missed with the PDR. It came out perfect, you can't even tell. Also that is why they have PDR service, to avoid going to the bodyshop. :slap: Anyhow, I am over being discouraged, I just get dissapointed in people sometimes, but what can you do. *BTW, my 350Z is on the market for sale.*
Again, awesome project. Like everyone else said it's pretty rare to find a GSR in that good of condition. You've done great work and good plans so far, but the Version S badge looks out of place in my opinion. Can't wait to see/hear the new updates!
No updates yet, as for the emblem, it is in the exact placement of the Japan spec version. It is from a 92-93 model and not sure why it looks "out of place"??? Perhaps you aren't used to seeing this emblem? Almost no one has it in the U.S., then again no almost no one has it in Japan as well. Anyhow it is just a emblem. :slap:
love the rnr's, they came out amazing! always love da's. i can't wait to see what you pull out with it!
