He everybody, My name is Rens, am from The Netherlands an I finally finished my del sol so I just wanted to show you all my little project :baby: Here is how I bought my sol: Here in Holland we have a big styling scene with lots of body modifications so I wanted a headlight conversion to make the sol look "angry" Didn't work out of course so I stopt it.. I'll keep you updated! :rocks: After 6 months of changing with a lot (and I mean a lot) of diffirent bumpers en diffirent colour interior I became selfish.. I followd my own tast en made the car eudm/usdm/jdm.. Some pictures of 3 weeks ago: deliverd the car fully stript and underneath the fenders I took care of all the rust and painted it myself Took care of my "shaved doors" In the paintbooth Just in time me and my friends finished building the car up.. And for the first time in 6 months she took me for a 100 km ride to the sponsor of the dutch version of team del sol so it could be on a "meeting" the next day.. and back in my garage I know it looks like/(is going to look like) a Rare_eg rip off.. But I can't help it.. This was the colour I bought my car in, and am not going to change it because someone on the other side of the world has almost the same :googly: :roflmao: Regards
Wow this car has been through a lot of stages. Lets see some full shots of how it sits now. The paint looks good!
Like I said its gonna be a Jimmy rip off.. But I can't help it.. I bought my car with that colour (almost the same as jimmy's). And am not going te change that colour because someone on the other side of the world has the almost same colour on his car :googly: And still, Jimmy and I sill have our own tast zo its defenetly will have it differentses (sorry for the bad grammar) Thanks for all the reply's en thumbs up
looks good great car but i was wondering why u put the oem body kit back on?? i liked the one that was one there personally not hating but just wondering great car though and love the paint
Doesn't really have any reason that am now bringing the car back to oem Just that I like it more (the looks..) Than any kit on the market..
looks like youre going the right way with the OEM look :woot: i cant wait to see what else youre gonna do to it
Hee Jimmy, Thanks m8 What am going to do to it now? well.. Orderd my new rims: Rota ..... .. "filled my locks" my old exhaus: and the new one : I didn't have the board above the spare wheel in the trunk so I made a copy of the board from a friends sol: Before: After: In front I only did the brakes and suspension becuase I miss the inside flaps: The exhaust hit the heatshield so the sol had to go up again by the way a fey weeks ago vandaag:today: a friend of my is looking for the low beam 2 friens of mine are looking behind the dash for "useless" wires.. AND WE FOUND THEM A LOT OF THEM: (those wires are useless.. they were from neon lights, kabels for a subwoofer.. A lot of cabels that were going nowere?.. A well.. 15 years of del sol takes in a lot of .... right Keep you posted!
Ok here it comes.. No updates (thanks to the cold and rainy weather) BUT negotiations have started on this sol the one and only TRUE JDM del sol in europe.. If I can get to a good amount for the car then I'll trade mine in and going to continue on this one.. its a VXI-E from '92 I'll keep you guys posted!
DUDE RHD for the win! Nice work by the way, I cant believe you had that many random wires lol! Everything looks nice though, I like that u painted the drums and calipers black. I did the same thing with the trunk board too, I made a new one from my old one cause it was all busted. +1 rep for you
the RHD sol is very nice  the only thing that kills it for me is that its an auto, but hey its JDM so it doesnt matter :googly:
