You can also save weight by swapping the crank pulley for an aluminium version, I just changed mine to an underdrive type & the difference is about 4lbs weight saving

well shaggy, in your sig you have fat five rims. if you switched to del sol skinny fives you would save 8 lbs. 15.5 vs. 13.5 each... or go with like hx's and save 15 lbs...

those tires look a bit wide for that wheel but it may be the way im lookin at it though. ya i dont remember what the spacing was on the lancer wheels, just taking a random idea and running with it lol. tend to do that alot. i dont think i really like the oz wheels neway, more partial to the black and polish lip look. o ya, thanks for the pic.

+ ive seen the rim spin inside the tire because of excessive tire width on narrow wheels. what tires are those? depending on what kind of tire it is, lowering the psi like he has it may or maynot help traction. it may just be the excessive tire width but it looks low in psi from that angle. what does he set them at? the NITTO 555R can be dropped in psi and it will have the "wrinkle wall" effect like a drag slick at launch and when aired back up it corners considerably well also.

I changed the ps & alternator pulleys to AEM versions & the actual crank pulley was from Toyosports, I have stripped out the aircon but wanted to keep the ps I think the overall weight saving was about 6lbs total.

The other item I forgot was an aluminium radiator, I swapped mine for a Fluidyne one , saved a bit of weight but improved the engine cooling as well.

Your motor won't actually add too much weight over what you have now, so you should still be positive on the weight loss depending on how far you have gone
