Nice video! must be nice to have snow right in your backyard to be able to play on! Im jealous, here in sunny cali (in the bay) snow is non existant.

I miss drifting, this makes me want to get my BMW back in running order to play! Nice, you seem to be fairly smooth also, thats good seeing as you are drifting a "MR" car which can be a bit tricky for beginners.

haha thanks. No offense taken. Driving MR for years has taught me to be pretty smooth with my driving.

 

I'd say sell the na and use that to fix up the turbo one!!!

 

Pretty much the plan. Depending if the NA sells though. Might keep it around for a beater car.

Once it's nice out again where I can drive the MRS, I'll sell it for $1200. It needs a handful of little things done to it. I've sunk about $400 in parts already into the car.

 

Well, I bought it. I'll bring it home in a week or two. It has a Blitz Nur Spec exhaust, H&R springs, Auto Meter boost/vac gauge, short shifter, and some other stuff.

 

Finally got my 91 turbo home.

OEM fog lights (that I failed to notice)
GReddy boost cut controller
GReddy turbo timer (uninstalled)
TurboXS manual boost controller
ATS CT27 turbo (good for about 330hp on a stock motor at 22psi)
ATS throttle body inlet (makes power even on the stock motor)
Rear motor mount insert - Engergy Suspension?
Real GReddy front lip (FRP)
Bomex side skirts
Blitz Nur Spec exhaust
Stainless downpipe (assumably ATS)
unknown intake filter and shield

Just sold the NA to a buddy. Time to start on the turbo chassis

 

Can't wait to see what you do with it. I always like the Turbo MR2s.

Transmission acquired.

 

Awesome pickup on the Turbo mr2! Wish my aunt had a cool 90's import just sitting around that needed a new home.

 

A little update before I start the major work.

Got a new E153 transmission for the turbo car. I'll be pulling the motor soon as the transmission and turbo both need to come off the motor. I'm also planning on replacing the oil pump, looking at the water pump, and I might to a head gasket and ARP head studs while I have most of it apart (since it's all reletively cheap) but we'll see.


Test fitting what my fronts will be. 17x9 +17. I moved the rear lips (2" lips) up front, and will be re-lipping the rears since one of the front lips is damaged. The front's used to be 17x8 +30



Speaking of the rears, here's the 17x9 +40. They will become 17x10.5 +21.


Car will need a pull all around for them, but should work out. This car has 17x9 +22 17x10 +22

 

I sanded, prepped and painted one of the centers today. (bottom right)

 

Laid the lip on it to take a look. Damn, I'm happy with the outcome.

 

They look much better.
