Waiting for wheels is the worst. I remember waiting for my TE's to come from Japan. :sleep: I just sent one face out today. I should see the lips in about two weeks or so.
Did a test fit with the current suspension. Pretty stoked on the results. I also scored a free sub for this thing. This gave me motivation to get this car done and start sliding it. I then took some buffing compound and brought the red and the shine back. Rad.
Yeah, I really liked them when I was young. I fell in love with a white turbo MR2 before any other car. I've been doing a little work here and there. Here's the current engine bay. I did some hand polishing on the GReddy intercooler piping and the ATS throttle body inlet. I also painted the valve cover wrinkle black. That worm gear clamp off the BOV and the larger one on the hot pipe have to go. Red couples will be leaving shortly after those as well. I also installed a Auto Meter 3677 boost/vac gauge (custom bezel) I recently noticed this has an Apex'i intake kit on it too. I keep finding more and more parts on this...
Thanks. Just bringing it back to what it was, plus my wheels and more low. Not too much. It's already got a bunch of parts in it and the interior is clean and comfortable. Finished waxing the SW and charged the battery. Maybe I'll pull the trans soon...
Well here's what has been going on. I decided to sell the TRD wheels (profit!) to buy a 6 speed trans with a Kaaz LSD for the MRS. I have one more left to finish and they will be on their way to Vegas to a fellow MR2 owner. Sad to see them go.
