decided to paint it silver. put some misc stuff on, and routed the wiring. Still need a 2zz alternator as well as find a solution to all the fucking oil pan bolt threads being stripped on this block.

 

I used helicoils on my exhaust manifold bolts and they worked really nicely. just an idea.

 

Yeah, I just didn't want to Helicoil 7+ holes

 

If this motor blows, I'm putting it on the stand and sticking it in the living room.

 

Picked up a 0-7bar oil pressure gauge from work

 

So it was bothering me too much not to check the oil pump. So I took it all back apart. Sure enough, more wear than I prefer. Just bought a new one...

not much left. Busted my ass almost every day after work to finish assembling (after the new oil pump and alternator came in) and getting it in the car. Last things left include; serpentine belt, battery, exhaust, rebuild passenger side axle (already have the Toyota kit), wiring in my oil pressure gauge, and bolting the rest of the suspension down.

Probably do some tomorrow, the rest on Tuesday since I'm off that day.

Now it's time for a hardtop. lol.

 

No hardtop, and a tune before I get to beat on her. Just picked up some ID1000 injectors. Should be plenty for any power I will ever make with this motor.

 

1000cc damn 600cc or 660cc should be plenty!! lol

 

all gay and such. tune on Saturday.

 

Pulls awesome, super loud through tunnels. Went on a cruise and put a total of 300 miles on it today.
