VQ37 Like the G37, the Skyline coupe is powered by a new DOHC 3.7-liter V6 that makes 333 horsepower. The engine, called VQ37, can be mated to either a close-ratio six-speed manual gearbox or a five-speed automatic with magnesium shift paddles, adaptive shift control and manual shift capability. Among the high-tech systems available on the Skyline coupe are intelligent key, blind-side monitor, rearview monitor and HDD Carwings navigation/entertainment system. The uplevel 370GT Type SP and S models come with a unique front bumper and matching side sills, as well as Nissan's four-wheel active steering. The cabin of the Skyline coupe can be finished in Fauve with real wood trim or in Cool Black with aluminum trim.
