Testing in Beta

True Playstation 3 Home is Working Out The Bugs and Is Still Makings Design Decisions in Beta but Its Still 10x Better than xBox Live.... :spitdrink:

never went on xobx live. but i just wish Home was more.... fun.

This game sucks -- but if you play it as though you are in a Logan's Run type dystopia world then it's scary as all hell.

I wake up without a memory. I don't know who I am or what I am doing in a lavish apartment. I visit a near-by plaza filled with similar clones -- in fact, many are clones of me - we all have the same hair, face and plain-t over a long-sleeved-t look.
I try to engage in conversation but the language they speak is gibberish: I'm told "Youg loook like a *****" and "Robot Men line! This i s hilaiours". These clones seem to worship women as Gods in this world. There is a strict man/woman ratio of 50:1. Hot women always seem to have men chasing and dancing after them.
Overall there seems to be a preoccupation with dancing. Not sure what this means.
I sit down to a game of chess.. all begins well, we have our opening moves. Then my opponent stands up and walks away without explanation. I follow him to see what is wrong and he walks into a furniture store. I think that maybe his chair was uncomfortable and he was hastily buying a cheap replacement -- but he does not come out of the store. And I am too scared to enter.

part 2

After a day of searching the city, you return to your apartment, only to discover that you've had an intruder. There's no sign of forced entry, but random pieces of your carefully-placed furniture have vanished. In fact, a number of your decorations lie scattered on the floor, the very table they sat upon apparently having been stolen while you were away. Who was in here, and what were they really looking for? Is the apartment bugged? Confused, you fall asleep for a time.

When you awaken again, you look around and discover that even more of your furniture has vanished. While you were asleep. They must have slipped in silently while you were unconscious. Did they drug you? What do they want? Apparently they can come and go as they please, undetected, and you're powerless to do anything about it.

In confusion, you stumble out onto the balcony. You hear the sound of seagulls, but no matter how long you look, you never see them. Then you notice something truly disturbing -- the ocean is unnaturally still. No waves. You suddenly don't want to look out your balcony anymore.

You run out to the plaza, and see the now-familiar sight of a number of dancing men surrounding a single woman. What happens next is like something out of a nightmare -- the woman presses some buttons on a strange PDA, and suddenly "she" has become a transparent hologram, like some sort of ghostly mannequin, tall and featureless. Seconds later, the "woman" has been replaced by a large, hideous man who starts laughing maniacally. The surrounding men immediately stop their dancing and flee in terror. You decide it would be best to stay indoors.

Back inside, you remember you have a similar PDA to the one you just saw. You found it in your pockets after waking up for the first time. Under "Friends List", you see a list of strange names. Who are they? Can they be trusted? The PDA was probably planted on you by them, meaning all the information is suspect... but what if it wasn't? Maybe they don't know you have it. Maybe it's your only hope.

You contact several of the individuals using the device and ask them to come over. They relay a story similar to yours -- waking up with no memories in an apartment identical to yours. They've been exploring the city as well. Several of them, with an American accent, claim they've been able to find places outside of the city, such as a dusty train station in what looked to be Africa. While others, with more European voices, insist that no such places exist.

You realize that you can't trust anyone here. Maybe not even yourself.

part 3

My explorations today have only added to my ever-growing distress.

The city seems clean and peaceful enough, but things are just not right here.

Yet again, I entered my apartment to find furniture missing and the items that were on them lying haphazardly on the floor. My last lamp lay on its side, still illuminating the empty floor. A suspicious-looking dancing astronaut told me that I could turn off all my lights to prevent my furniture from vanishing, so I turned off the lamp and since then I've had nothing else go missing. This is very puzzling. I wondered if the intruders could fear darkness, but that makes no sense, as the sun never sets here. Maybe the lamps are more than they seem? Must remember to investigate further.

Evidence continues to grow that I, and everyone else here, are not humans at all, but some type of humaniform robots. I've been here several days now and never grown hungry or thirsty, and never even seen a bathroom. The "people" here appear to have telepathic powers, too. There are arcade games, but the players never touch the controls. They simply stand there stiffly in front of the screen, apparently controlling the games with their minds. I was tempted to try it, but there was never a machine available, and I feared being exposed as an outsider if it turned out I wasn't psychic. One fetching young lady someone managed to play one of the games while dancing the Running Man, her arms somehow thrusting forward, and THROUGH, the machine. After 40 minutes, she stepped back from the machine and transformed into an Asian cowboy.

Out on the square, I saw more psychics, apparently controlling small flying saucers with their minds, flying above a fountain. The technology was like nothing I thought could exist.

I'm thankful there are no mirrors here, for should I gaze into one, I fear what I would find looking back at me.

Im totally on board with a JDMChat clubhouse. Letting all members (no matter what country you're in) to, in a sense, hang out. Seems like JDMChat and Shop Responce websites could also be incorporated into it somehow. Just a thought.....

I will be getting this, but I want the full version. Anybody know when it's coming out?

Ok so I got on there last night and it's kinda boring if you dont know anybody on there. I ended up walking around the central plaza telling people "nice shirt". But if my friends had been on there it might have been a bit different. Played pool for about an hour. That was pretty fun. There was the occational ass hole though. I guess some people got bored and wanted to just bother people. Seemed like the load times were slow. Maybe I was just being impatient. If you havent gotten on there I think its worth the time to do so. I hope it gets better though!
