I wanted to start this thread so we EP3 owners can show off our pride and joy! Give us a little history and a brief description of our metal mistresses!! This is your showcase! I will start this thread with my baby...Silver Aura... I moved to Minot, ND in May of 2005 from Kaiserslautern, Germany. I was driving a 1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass Cierra when I first arrived and was tired of driving around old, used POS's. I felt it was time to upgrade my lifestyle a bit and kick it up a notch! So, I was trying to figure out what I wanted in a vehicle, and went to various car lots and talked to various car salesmen. I wanted a car that was original, quick and peppy, and had a certain spirit about it! I narrowed it down to a blue 2004 Civic SI with body graphics and a plain satin silver 2003 Civic SI. I chose the silver one because it was a clean slate to work on, bone stock. So, I purchased the used and certified silver SI from Fisher Motors (www.fishermotors.com) for a whopping (hehe) $14,995, $3000 down with 30,000 miles on the odometer. Signed, sealed and delivered! I cleaned the motor up, learned about I-VTECH and the K20A3motor. I also wanted to take the time to thank Mark aka 97-Ferio, for all his help and useful inputs and advice on what would make my car better and all the tech tips he has shared with me since I met him in 2005! Mahalo ko'u Kaikua`ana (??)! The first thing I did was buy a K&N (www.knfilters.com) short ram intake, to let her breathe a bit more "free." I installed this part myself, and took a half an hour. Next, I had Exhaust Pros (out of business) install the custom Magnaflow 2.25" cat-back exhaust. Nice upgrade! Next came the DC Sports (www.aempower.com) 4-2-1 racing header with 2.25" outlet, with nice large plenums. I next installed a killer sound system: Two 10 inch RF (www.rockfordfosgate.com) P3's in a ported box, with 4 Sony XPLOD (www.xplodsony.com) 6x9 speakers and a Jensen (www.jensenaccessories.com) 7" in-dash DVD/CD/MP3 player! Last item was the RF 350 watt amp...a little underpowered for now, but will get better in time with more cash-flow. I also used Stinger (www.stingerelectronics.com) connection wires and hardware. Next, I installed the Skunk 2 (www.skunk2.com) coilovers, Koni (www.koni-na.com) Sport Adjustable struts, Neuspeed (www.neuspeed.com) rear strut tower bar, Freedom Design (www.freedomdesign.com) front strut tower bar and the shoes: 17" Konig (www.konigwheels.com) Rizens wrapped in Falken (www.falkentire.com) Ziex rubber!! I had to grab a custom adjustable camber kit, so I went with the SPC (www.spcperformance.com) kit...very nice kit and very durable! That's the extent of my ride modifications as of late, but never fear, I will be working on her through the whole winter! More stuff to come! Now, on to the gallery! I will add more pictures as mods progress, and I will put the pictiures in chronological order, when I get back to my crib... Me and 97-ferio's rides...Pre-Modded Repping the site baby...*rare* style!!
