previous rides, and my first real project/build!

hey so i guess im pretty shy. i am on here all the time but never really say much. i enjoy the laid back atmosphere this is a great forum! anyway i thought i would post my old rides and my current project car.
so lets start off with the slo

i miss her so much, but she is in the hands of professionals next week she gets painted and i get to see her again! ill try to snap some pics. too bad shes not mine anymore
so i took my b16a and swapped it in, my first learning experience!





i really didnt like the hatch, i amnt really sure why so i got rid of her and decided to start a real project..

 

the rex.. clean title only a couple small dings

LS block w/ 30k on it. i got for free

gsr ys1 cable tranny also free

oh and u can see my oil pan, tapped for oil return..

one question, are these valves stock?? i was told the head was fully built, and i want to know if i need to get my money back or if these are after market

well thats as far as i have gotten for now, im am poor now, since i have to pay for school and all :computerrage: buuut i should be getting some new stuff pretty soon here, i will try to keep you guys updated as best i can and let me know what you guys think, this is my first build, im kinda nervous!

thanks guys! block, crank and everything goes to the machine shop when every my bearings come in.
does anyone know if those are stock valves? i was told that everything is after market and to me it looked like the exhaust side is stock am i wrong??

I dont know about the valves, but I know this looks like a nice build comin up! Sorry about the sol, thats shitty tho.

 

ya, my insurance didn't cover it, i didn't get anything for it since technically it was my fault since i rear ended the guy, even though i was following the car in front at the speed limit at a safe distance till he swerved in and slammed his brakes to make the turn

anyways just got my gsr water pump and oil pump
pretty much all i need to figure out how to get the car over to obd1
any advice on whats the best way to do it?

just got the water and oil pump today!
found out that atleast exhaust valves are stock and that the retainers and springs are stock so time to put up a dispute on paypal..
now i just need to sell a few things so i can get my lsv kit

i have a garret t25 that i will be selling if anyone wants it, and a d series mani to fit it.
also a cometic 85mm lsv head gasket.

just thought id let you guys know before i throw them on ebay.

 

I hate having to do Paypal disputes, but at least they almost always get you your $ back. So youre doing LSV + Turbo? I will keep an eye out on this thread then cause I will be doing one of the two soon enough. A monster in the making

 

yup lsv-t i think i just decided i would try and do something that would make me broke and keep me that way for as long as possible

well if you need any parts i have so much extra parts laying around. i have almost 2 sets of ls rods, one full set of scat rods, and 3 eagle rods, you can get a 4th for $100 i have no idea where the 4th one disappeared at lol
and the pistons that came in that block don't even really have carbon build up on them so just let me know if you want anything. lol

so i got the paint gun ready and cleaned the garage out before i figured out that i didn't know what color i want to paint the car, and that i don't have any paint laying around.. yay for getting ahead of myself. any ideas on colors open to any and all suggestions, im just to indecisive i need peoples :help: (man im having to much fun with these smilies) freaking a-d-h-d..

 

How much you want for the rods? Its like $300 for the whole set I think. What other parts you got I might want?

As far as color, I say Gunmetal, 350z orange, black, white. Hmm I guess that doesnt really help haha, what kinda rims are u gonna be rollin on?
