i wish i finished rebuilding the distributor sunday before work. today i got around to installing it. i took it for a drive to see how everything was going (first drive btw, awesome power). i got on it a bit more and noticed smoke from behind me in my rear view mirror. i pulled over quickly and popped the lid. by doing so, i fueld the fire even more by giving it some oxygen. i called 911 emediately after that, but by the time the trucks came, my car was gone. FUCK!!! now i need a new car... and after all that time and money

first driving impressions: -clutch feels awesome, almost too awesome for this little car -need to set timing, i have little to no power down low, lots up high (supercharger, what?) -need to flush coolant better than i did, still have some oil in there from the BHG -needs an alignment BAD. car doesnt turn, then turns on a dime. i thought i didnt like the different wheels front and back, but in the video i got a better look and i think it looks good! lol!
yeah the car definitely has a nice stance now. when i pulled it out of the garage, just looking from the rear, the car is LOW and wide also, i uploaded the video again, so it should work. (sound works for me)
exhaust cam is 1 tooth off, which explains the lack of power (felt like a stock 4age). also, there was a fuel leak high rpm off-throttle at cyl 4 where the injector mates with the head. i also had a bit coming out of the rail at the banjo bolt. so i ordered new injector seals and decided to go with a -6AN stainless braided fuel line with Earl's fittings. HOPEFULLY, i can get it all sorted out and finally drive the thing. this shit is getting annoying.
yeah. things really add up too. that fuel line was $120 (smallest hose was 10ft, which was most of that price). it should be here tomorrow though
