going turbo on an auto base rsx...
why a base rsx? why auto? why turbo on a very good NA platform?
Gotta agree with dc2_lsvtec and solbrothers, if you're trying to do something different by going turbo on an auto base rsx then i would have to say that your judgement on what is worthwhile is a little flawed. From the sounds of things, you already have an auto base rsx and you don't know what to do with it.
well an base rsx has long gears and the compression rate is alot lower than the type s and with an automatic tranny there will be no boost lag
yeah but not only will the auto eat up power, and correct me if i'm wrong but wont it be really hard to stay in the powerband without being able to choose gears
you should either do a sequential transmission, or swap the base auto tranny for a type-s tranny.
well for the transmission part well thats y i will be using the sport shifter
yeah my del sol auto has 125 hp at the crank and 75 hp at the wheels...
^ lol:roflmao: i was thinking the same thing, what does that have to do with the topic at hand?:slap:
im just saying auto trannies rape power
with a manual i should have about 110 to 118 fwhp
