    my dad is in the fiberglass and plastics buisness and he said its to brittle to use as a lip or even a bumper but thats just one person he could be wrong

    If you think about it...anything will break. However, I have had my ABS plastic lip for about 8 months now and it is still in GREAT condition. Just make sure you don't hit anything lying in the road, or a parking stop...

    it is an alright material, but it can break easier under pressure, as compared to FRP, carbon fiber, etc. but lip kits made outta this stuff are cheaper than the better stuff. just don't hit it on anything like the dude before me said.=)

    Thats good to read because I just bought an ABS lip from e-bay, I'm already real carefull about not hitting stuff so I'll just keep on doin that.

    ive had friends with abs lips and such. everything worked out fine. of course there is gonna be better materials. but take care of ur lips and u will be set:)
