It can be done on a budget, I am thinking of doing a write up for the first timers to Tokyo on a budget. You would be suprised how far you can make your dollar go with good planning.

Technically the RSX (integra type R) isnt a VIP car. even though someone made a kit for it. it's not VIP. Like the IS300. It is considered A luxury sedan by most. But in the VIP community. It is still is a sport sedan.

jfyi if you are in japan and you are walking around and you see one of these cars on the street parked, think twice about snapping off a bunch of pics! if the windows are all tinted dark black beware. yakuza are the main sporters of the higher end VIP cars. and they dont like cameras! lol! osaka is probably the most dangerous place for this. tinting your front windows is illegal here, but the keisatsu (police) dont bother yakuza for this!
VIP pics these were taken at the fukuoka auto salon. the van is a Toyota Estima. very popular here. even considered cool by the younger crowd. they have reclining seats with extending leg rest in the rear similar to a maybach. alot of VIP companys also have the estima parts available.
