skyline?

ok so on my bday i went to the Navy base and saw a flyer for a skyline gts-t for sale for $3000 with alot of nice parts. the guy has new orders to go back to the US and has to sell it fast. i told my wife and she said "get it". but do i really want a skyline gts-t? its a '90 i think. but i loved my eg hatch. and always dreamed of having a real SiR rhd. and if i wait i can have it. so would you rather have a gts-t, or a rhd eg hatch?

 

RHD Skyline> RHD eg anyday, sorry.

 

the rhd eg would be easyer to take care of for parts. But of course the the r32 would be a dream to have. Tough decision.

 

I wish it was available in Texas...i would jump on it for 3K

 

skyline fo sho. sure its not all wheel drive, but its worth it. especially for 3 g's.

 

I would go for the Skyline because those don't fall outta the sky for 3G's that often!

 

i dunno, R32's always seemed to have electrical problems as they got older...but maybe my friends just had bad luck with R32's, lol i would say wait for the EG SiR, because you've always wanted one, and also to save you some money on gas :thumbup:

well heres my whole "thing". i have owned many hondas. i love everything about them. i love the fact that over here i can find all the mugen, J's racing, backyard special, spoon, etc, parts that i want on the cheap. and i have NEVER owned or even worked on a nissan. its kinda unfair for me to ask this question to you guys, of course you'd take the skyline. you're all in the US. if there was a skyline there for $3000 you'd jump on it. so now think like you're in my shoes. you live where you see them everyday. so if you could have either any time you wanted, what would you want?
(also remember that 4cyl = about $1200 inspection cost. 6cyl = about $2000, and so on.)

no problemo man, and i still say go with the EG6. i got sick of skylines when i lived in Okinawa, they were like the Ford Mustang of Okinawa...every American guy on base had one.

 

this one's on yahoo.jp auction. buy it now price of 200,000 yen. thats $1724.13. so you see its no big deal to find a $3000 skyline.

 

this civic is on yahoo.jp auction buy it now for 290,000 yen. thats $2500! so they are equally obtainable.

 

EG6, if u know you'll be happy with an EG, but not sure about the R32 I think you know what you should d, not to mention you already named all the reasons why an EG6 would be better

 

damn dbendel, get the EG6. you know you want to. lol and that one you showed in the pics is so clean, wish i could buy it.
