so today i wake up to someone ringing my doorbell 3 times. i jump out of bed and throw pants on. i run down stairs and i missed it. :thumbsdown:

i got a note saying i can pick it up. soooo, i shower and drive to the post office (sent USPS). i get there and they say the driver hasnt returned and i can come back later. i told them ill pick it up on monday. :banghead:

"what are they?" you ask? they are JDM window shades that came as an OEM option on the S13 (and s14) Silvia in japan. "then why is there wiring?" see, where it says "Silvia," that lights up. rare and flashy, just how i like it

has anyone seen these before? i was introduced to them on Zilvia.net (Z and S chassis website) in a thread about rarest parts. only one, maybe two, people had these in all the pages of rare parts. but, no one had pictures of them installed. i wanted them, so using the power of the internet (ebay!) i found a pair.

as far as price, lets just say i spent double what i originally planed :eye twitch:

but here they are, and they make me want to keep my S13, so they were worth getting

i just test fitted them. they click right into the rear window area from the b/c pillar trim. ill get some pics once i wire them up and clean my filthy car
