okay i figured it was about time i made one of these threads first off i'd like to thank kevin [dc2_lsvtec] for taking most of these pics. my 240sx started off as a beaten bone stock 240 that was free of rust thanks to a prior life in GA :woot: see that is a big deal here in the rust belt, 240's have a hard time keeping their frames from rusting out here in IL thanks to IDOT's over use of salt in the winter anyways here is what she looked like when i got her little dirty and a little missing parts/broken parts and looking like a 4X4 so after having her for less then three months [i think] this is what i've done with her OBX 4-2-1 header good 'ol nameless catback TEIN s-tech lowering springs Konig Rewinds [woot 0 offset] Falken ZE512's and here she is done soon to come TEIN tension rods and new LCA's with poly bushing lower balljoints
I like it! Has some good thought! I especially like the Konigs you got on there, my car has the Konig Rizen (Risen) series...they are nice!
the long overdue Specter's KA24DE rebuild thread okay... let me just state that the car is running as we speak, these pics are kinda old and overdue. there are more of them however i just need to get off my lazy ass to get them. okay as some of you know before christmas last year i blew my engine in my 92 Nissan 240sx... in a sence it puked all it's oil and spun a rod bearing... anyways a full rebuild was commenced. and with out further delay here are the pics... removing the head off the old block grr... damn you lower timing chain head dissembled ooo new paint... and rice well there's yer problem... seems there was a little more going on then a spun bearing for anyone else doing this rebuild... remember to install this plug, apparently it's the darin plug for the blocks coolent... doh engine in car finally 4X4-ing and random pic of a meet that was on the side of a highway... seriously like i said there are more pics... i'll just add them later thanks for looking... next step is ITB's :thumbup:
nice, but why didnt you just put this in your S13 build thread? and you forgot to mention that it doesnt idle.
there's nothing like doing it yourself when it comes to car work. keep up the good work with your S13.
