okay, lemme first off state that i've never been one to follow the "norms" of car building. that said let me introduce you all to the project that's likly to drive most of you mad just trying to understand what the hell i'm even doing as most of you know i drive a '94 Honda Accord EX Coupe and yes it has the stock F22B1 motor in it, however at the end of all this there is going to be something of a monster under the hood. The Plan: F22B1 Block with an H23A1 P14A head P&P running a set of DIY ITB's yes that's right, monster... i'm not even sure of what to call this engine anyways i recived the first major part to all this yesterday, the H23A1 P14A head, now for those of you that don't know the P14A head is in fact a non-VTEC head, i was hoping to get a VTEC head but now that i think about it not having VTEC will make it much easier to tune the ITB's [and maybe a turbo later down the road ] there will be pics of everything and a write up on the headswap later, but for right now there are a few things that i still need.
Nice. Where the hell are the pics. C'mon I am very impatient. This should be a very interesting build.
nope. that's on the car. sorry. you can try with the F22 bracket. I've seen a few people open up the mounting holes, and use the F22 bracket and pump on H22 swaps.
really? well i'm not beyond fabrication, i assume you need a different belt then eather the H22 or the F22
your would be funky, but I think the H23 t-belt would be the longest. I'm worried about total deck height. The H23 and F22 may be the same deck height, because of the identical stroke. I know the H22 has a shorter deck height than both.
no i know i need an H23 T-belt [there is no belt that works with an H22 head thus why no one has ever done that swap] i was talking about a belt for the power steering
aww, hell. I thought you were worried about something serious. I'd get one an inch longer than a standard Accord belt, and if that doesn't fit, then take it back, and ask for one shorter/longer.
