o.kay this question may sound very stupid, and you all may wanna smack me when i'm done for asking it, but i need an answer for it. i just recently purchased the spoon magnetic drain plugs for my civic, and was wondering, which one goes in which spot...you have the one drain plug with the longer magnet on it, and then the shorter guy with the shorter magnet. i've never used these before, and i just wanted to ask so i can get right into it when i do my oil/tranny fluid change in a few days. thanks for any helpful info folks, and again, sorry for the noobie type question:) :slap:

The Spoon Sports Drain Bolts actually work quite well, you will surely notice all the little metal shavings and particals the plugs pick up. A good upgrade without a big price tag. Did I mention I got lots in stock and you can buy them from us here: http://www.shopresponse.com/spoon_sports_magnetic_drain_bolt_set.html

Now thats what I call a Plug, pun intended. :spitdrink:

hi everyone, just as a follow-up for this thread, i did my engine and tranny oil change today...installed the Spoon magnetic drain plugs, as well as the HAMP Synergy oil filter...and it feels like my car drives a lot better...i'm not sure if it's mainly because my car really needed an oil change, or if it's the improved oil pressure from the HAMP filter, or the drain plugs...maybe it's all three combined. Nonetheless my car's performance improved after installing these parts along with the fluid change. sooooo, i would recommend these things for your next oil change if you haven't done so already. i give the spoon plugs and hamp filter two thumbs up mang. can't wait for the next oil change so i can see if the plugs caught any metal particles:) now go out and change your own oil. aloha:)

do it...do it. then maybe we can change your oil and install the drain plugs ourselves...i wouldn't trust the techs at the dealership with my Spoon drainplugs...but that's just me.:) i don't like other people doing work on my car if i can do it myself.
