Spring has sprung (well, sort of), and it's time for the latest installment of the EF FOR SALE THREAD!

If you have anything for sale that for an EF, from an EF or can be modded to fit an EF then this is the place to post it so we can all have a look-see, and maybe help you rid your garage of clutter!

This is an auction for an extremely rare "Spoon Sports" instrument cluster used in 1990/91 JDM Civic EF9 and CR-X EF8 SiRs in Japan!

At first glance, just your everyday run-of-the-mill EF SiR instrument cluster, but a close look reveals it is a very rare Spoon Sports version.


Cluster reads up to 250Km/h instead of 180Km/h on the normal SiR cluster. It also features the Spoon Sports logo on the speedometer section. This will illuminate when the headlights are turned on (see pictures). On the tachmeter section is a decal that proudly proclaims "POWERED BY HONDA" on it. I did not place that decal on there and it does not light up like the Spoon Sports logo does, and I doubt it was OEM or part of the Spoon scheme. Just a bit of bling added by some Japanese Honda enthusiast, I suppose.

The cluster is in working order with one exception. The odometer (the part that keeps track of how many KMs you drive) portion works intermittently. Sometimes it will register and sometimes it won't. The speedometer section works fine.

There are many places that repair electronic speedometers online and honestly, I couldn't be bothered having this unit repaired since I'm going to keep and use my stock cluster.

NOTE: THIS ITEM DOES NOT COME WITH WIRING HARNESS PIECES.

MY LOSS IS DEFINATELY YOUR GAIN!!!

I've only seen a handful of these in Noth America!
