tail light question

if i understood what im told...the 90-93 accord 2 door and 4 door lights are different sizes and therefore NOT interchangable?....is this correct?....

im just wondering cause i read on a site or 2 that yes they are interchangeable but on ebay fjor an set they say only for 4 door wont fit 2 door....

help plz?....anyone?...specter the honda guru lol...is this true?

okay that's the breakdown as far as part numbers from Honda. as you can see only the outer sections of the taillights are interchangable from 2DR and 4DR models. the inner parts [on the trunk lid itself] are not [according to honda i.e. different parts numbers]

so there you have it. there might be a way to modify the 4DR inners to fit the 2DR [and visa versa] however i'm not sure that there is.

so...the corners are interchangeable....but as seen in the 2 pictures...they are different colors (top to bottom)....

oh you missed his point, his question was on the interchangability between 2DR and 4DR models of the 92-93 Accord

 

oh ok, yeah i saw that. But in his first post he says, "90-93"...thus why i was also concerned about which year HE has, compared to the year of tailight he was planning on swapping... >_<

 

oh well im just gonna give up....gonna leave them as they are....just put that money to paying off the del sol so i can get me an s2k and prolly end up selling the accord....
