I was wondering if its a good idea to get these from the Junk yard because im on a bit of a budget. Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks.
coolant temp sensors can be bought from a junk yard. just when you go, bring a dvom(digital volt ohm meter) and test the resistance of the sensor it should only be two wires, just put the two leads on the prongs and see what you get for a reading. what vehicle is it for? i can get you the specs. if its in the specs its good.
