have you ever thought of going w/ the skunk2 D16Y8 IM? it wouldn't be as restrictive on your airflow...i'm glad i put one on my Y7.
a bone stock 2JZ-GE. 3 liters of torque, with no damn turbo. I'll have pics up as soon as I repaint some ricer's misguided brainfarts on the engine cover and fuse box covers.
^^pretty sure that motor is a d15b7^^ i have a stock d15b7 in my car with a k&n filter and custom intake pipe (b18b with a chikara header,aem pulleys and cam gears, another custom intake, and a fully built ITR trans goin in this winter)
as promised, the largest engine EVER posted on JDMChat!!!! Da All-Mota 2JZ of DEATH!!!! or stockness... will probably end up seeing either the new Turbonetics kit, or the T61 BoostLogic kit. not sure, but 400whp will be achieved.
B16a swap. Performance upgrades: CTR cams, AEBS intake manifold, DC ceramic header, Zydene ECU, titanium valve springs and retainers

here's pre-turbo: JDM GSR type-r intake mani, hondata gasket, EG6 airbox with HKS super filter, AEM cam gears, CTR cams, skunk2 valvetrain, GSR trans w/LSD, stage 3 clutch, type-r flywheel, dc header, '00 SI stock exhaust with cutout. ran with real deal spoon ECU: rev limit 9600rpm here's the turbo install phase: swapped in stock GSR cams, testing out XS power turbo parts(turbo/manifold/intercooler is XS) 450 DSM injectors, 3" downpipe no exhaust, tuned with crome to 11psi and runs super strong. i have a fully built USDM GSR going in w/ 9.0:1 pistons, crower rods and ported head and complete valvetrain/valves. B16 trans with type-r diff, act flywheel(no clutch yet) have yet to find a new turbo kit for this set-up
