Hi welcome to the site! This thread is very similar to the other thread you have in the newbie section. I will be deleting the other thread in the newbie section and you can continue this thread.
I keep changing my mind about that actually, haha but I think i'm gonna keep this car for a while and since it's approaching 300,000 miles I think a lower mile tranny will be in order anyways. So I think I will maybe during summer.
Haha yeah I know, lol and I think I might build this alot. Like go all out. Haha Turbo F22A?? Maybe an H22? Idk I'm leaning towards an F22.
Well you could turbo your current motor if you would like. It would be cheaper this way, however with the current mileage of the motor, I wouldnt recommend running very high psi. Maybe 6-7psi
Yeah. boosting the F22 is uncommon but will be very fun once your done. The upside to doing an H22 or H23 boosted swap is the DOHC Vtec.. either way to run low boost you will need lower compression pistons and fuel upgrades. Looks good though, welcome to the site.
Yeah I do plan this to be like a track car, I just want a fast, boosted daily. I want to go all out on a CB9 wagon. And thanks man.
It was assumed (by me) that you were going to be boosting this motor in its current state. Of course with proper bottom end building a motor can withstand higher boost levels. Also if you plan on running low boost you dont need to have low comp pistons for it to be safe, your motors comp ratio is an already boost friendly 8.8:1 (disclaimer: Not by any means am I endorsing boosting your motor to insane levels of psi in its stock form, Im simple stating that your motor can handle 6-7 psi without any problems)
Yeah this is just going to be a mild build, try to get maybe 250+ HP out of it. And I plan on doing a compression test soon like late January to mid February. Haha
Havent been here in a while and forgot how to edit, it didnt have a button or anything so here is the new one. My First Car, I'm 16 and this my daily driver CB7, aka Jasmine.
