    WTB: auto to manual swap... del sol SI

    wanted to buy the parts for a 5 speed swap...
    clutch pedal assembly
    hydraulic lines
    shift linkage
    passenger transmission mount
    transmission support mount
    rear transmission bracket
    rear transmission mount

    If it aids in you finding parts you should be able to use parts from an EG era Civic :thumbup:

    dont forget to add clutch master cyl. and slave cyl. to your list.

    Good luck, I stumbled upon my aut to man swap parts but they are still in my cars trunk :D

    Shift linkage needs to be from a sohc sol, it changes from the civic eg..

    actually it is not a lot of work because honda decided to make the auto and manual chassis very similar. so i will just need the mounts and a manual tranny and im pretty much set...

    Actually it is straight forward if you have all necessary hardware, the slight change is at the mounting point for the tranny mount, you will need what is called EGAMH it is a mount specially for the conversion from aut to man o chassis or you can do like me and have someone fabricate one :rocks:

    so i found a shop that can find all the remaining parts and do the swap.

    so far i have spent:
    $175 for the mounts, clutch and brake assembly, hydraulic lines, del sol shift linkage.
    $200 for master and slave cylinders, and brand new axles.

    next i still need a custom tranny mount, clutch and flywheel, and the tranny!!

    You almost got it then.. I have everything except the flywheel bolts.. I have spent 225 at the time so we are almost on the same budget but you got new parts I have a couple of used parts.. good luck with the rest of it man..

    A personal friend will be doing it and I will be helping, I don't know everything nor have lots of tools but I am eager to learn so as I did when my accord received the swap I will be helping out..

    Nice find, I could only get it over the net for 150+ so I'm sticking with modifying an oem mount..
