more things are broken after you "fix" your car

your car gets louder after fixing something that should have been "easy"

you end up buying more parts because you break something else, and call it an "upgrade"

you leave tools under/on/in your engine bay

you forget what it's like to drive your car

    "manual, who needs that."

you search forums for hours to figure out where a certian sound is comming from instead of just listening to the area

"point/condenser ignition is better then this new electronic s***"

you keep saying you're going to get a swap yet you still have the stock engine

    ...or a new car

you're scared to go over 85mph because the car violently shakes

you somehow manage to break/sheer a grade 8 bolt

...or drill out a grade 8 bolt, and snap the drill bit

    you never use jackstands

when swapping in a motor you say "f*** it" and use force

your transmission "falls out" instead of lowering it on a jack

start driving and forgot to tighten your lug nuts

there is a horrible sound in your car and you live with it

drain the trans fluid instead of the oil, then proceede to fill the engine with an additional 5qts

    you use a creeper as a skate-board

you don't use a creeper when working on your car

...or a jack that will raise your car high enough to allow a creeper under it (use plywood under the jack to compensate)

add to this if you think of any :)
