well guys im at it again lol. ive been putting together an ls/vtec for the last month. not sure what i wanna put it in though. ive been lookin at buying an ek hatch. but on with build details lol so far the bottom end is done i had the stock crank knifed and balanced,stock rods machined,acl race bearings,arp rod bolts and head studs,rs machine ctr spec pistons and it was cleaned and honed. here is a shot View attachment 20061

Does anyone know how to install the JDM power-folding mirrors? If you've done this conversion I'd appreciate any info you have. If no one has any info, then thanks for looking.=) Aloha.

tansmission noise

hi i got a 98 civic with a jdm d15b vtec motor and a manual transmission.. the problem is there is a weird noise coming from the tranny area...i dont know if it is the tranny or the clutch.. it sometimes makes a noise in first and second always in 3 and sometimes in 4..it goes away when i push the clutch in..its like a rubbing noise hard to describe..i was told it is probably a bad clutch but i personaly think its the tranny if you have any info please let me know

i built this a few months back after i sold my teg. its a ls with arias pistons,acl bearings and arp rod bold and headstuds. on the outside a skunk2 pro series intake manifold and a turbo kit. running a gsr trans with act clutch and flywheel. i just had it retuned with a new exhaust made 280whp@13psi. if it was vtec i would be over 300 by now lol.

are the ebay turbos good, i saw a kit for like $700, it comes with the
boost controller, BOV, intercooler, and ECT.

is it worth paying that much for that? i will be driving my car around town?
