heres a pic of my car from 2002. thats not me in it, lol it was my friend. here it was a year later..stayed like this for awhile(this time i was driving) ^ thanks to andy bui and import tuner car was refinished(paint,hood,bys hatch, big turbo) late '04 for HCI cover shot. I dont have any pictures of it online though. It has been going back to its roots for a year and a half now. ill post pics when its done.:rocks: nice to meet yall!

well the car has kinda been there and done that. Nov-Dec.01 I ordered the mugen kit before they even sold the car in my area. I bought the car in late jan.02 and began modding it. It has had parts come and go. 12 diff sets of rims lol. 3 diff sets of seats, cant begin to name everything that has gone on with the car. The last remake was a crazy turbo kit, One-fab(when they had a good rep) used the car as their test car for k-series turbo kits. everything turned out great.we had repainted the car oro elios (sunrise gold) and thats when it was on the cover of hci magazine. While the gold paint was fun and had a show car feel, I lost the joy of driving it on the street. I had ordered some parts that didnt make it in time for the shoot and that was the bys hood and hatch. airshipped from japan and it missed the shoot by one day(THAT SUCKED LOL). A lot of guys who are into Dc5's know my car. many like it best when it had the weds. I ordered those from vic at wheel options, I was orig. calling to order a new set of te's since mine were a lil used from racing. he said well I have some new wheels that were just released and you would be the only guy with them so far, so i said ship em! that was many years ago now but it was also when i loved my car most. simple,clean,effective. Everyone thinks I sold my car but fact is, its been sitting in the garage getting a make over-back to its roots. I sold the bys hood, sold the turbo kit. back to N/A, and back to the mugen hood. I dont wanna say what all else im doing but it will be super clean and not overly done. I did a wire tuck on it last nov and let me tell you THAT IS NO fun in a dc5. I hope to have it out in early 07 at the next jspek.com car show. right now its on hold though bc im helping my wife build her fit.Ill post pics soon though of her car, its pretty spiffy.
