hole everyone it has been so long since i was here i feel like a newbie so here is my introduction to you fellow car Enthusiast. here is my main car. here is her power plan. here is my secondary car. here is her power plan. (soon to be a B16a:thumbup: 2 more months) and i had to get a baby car and here she is. (looking into the TRD Supercharger for a 500HP) thank you all for looking i welcome any comments and advice as i will be here with some technical questions once i get my B16a in the EG6 i wanted the H22a but i like my AC and Power steering and well B18C i looked in to that swap but decided to keep it simple with the b16a and spend the money i will save in to a complete port and polish job not a racer just love to have great performance cars.
sick hatch dude. dont put in a b16, waste of money imo, if your gonna spend that much just go o the b18. A lot more power torque and fun, for jsut a little extra
To be honest i love the D16z6 its really a strong engine but i have over 230k miles on it and is about to leave me thats why the swap. i wanted an H22a in the hatch but i want to have my AC and power steering (h22a out the door swap 3200 ) so i looked to the B18c and well for the b16a i get 170Hp 113Trq 10.4 Compression for (out the door swap 2600), and for the B18c i get 180Hp 126Trq 10.6 Compression (out the door 3800) so for $1200 more im my opinion not worth the money if I’m not going to race plus I’m putting that extra money for a competition Head work (http://www.ericksracing.com/id68.html) and a complete supertech valve kit just to have a long lasting free flowing b16a. again nothing against the B18c is just that knowing myself ill end up putting ITR parts in the engine and my project will never end and also I feel that I got more bang for the buck going down this rout if in case I want to add turbo. Please feel welcome to input your opinions as I will love to know what you think and also reinforce my bang for the buck theory.
thank you all for the welcome back i will try to keep you guys posted on the swap and competition head work.
I believe you can keep AC with the H22 swap. I was looking into it with my DC4, and I thought I read somewhere that you just need a bracket to make it work.
on my research of the H22A on an EG6 i found out that i need it to spend a bit more on the suspension as my eibach springs lowered my car just right and they are not adjustable so with the added weight i will need to invest some more $$$. thanks for the info i may still look up the bracket just in case i have a change of heart and in case my investment gets a BAIL OUT deposit.
thank you, i had to upgrade my old truck was an 05 TRD tundra for recreational use for the desert to ride my quad and dirt bike. once i saw the thumbs up from my little one i had to buy the new one for her safety (and my weekends) great trucks, thank you again on the compliment
no prob ours is the trd also black just like that one but we have a shell on ours. i'll have to take some pics of it.
