N00b with an xB

Hey, my name is Chad. I'm in Minneapolis, MN.

I'm driving a 2006 Scion xB. It's not really that JDM, but I'd like to add more JDMness to it as I go.

Current mods.....
1960's Morris Mini fender mirrors
Webasto canvas sunroof
Toyota of Japan chrome trim kit
Garson wing
Custom fabricated cat-back exhaust
kph speedo
lowered 2.25"
35hp shot of NO2
Japanese service interval sticker in the windshield... lol

Future mods (purchased but not installed yet)
Red Genie lip kit (ultra rare)
BBS RM 2-piece wheels (under restoration)

And now for some pics. These pics are current except for the wheels that I don't run anymore.

oh, and can you get a close up of where the stock mirrors use to be? im sure Specter would appreciate it.

 

They WERE at the front corner of the windows on the front doors. I simply covered the space up with a sheet of black textured plastic that was cut to fit. All I did was double sided tape the panels on and they have stuck strong for a year now.

Cool xB. I like the wheels on the pics, they give it a little VIP look. I am sure the BBS wheels will look good as well. Oh yeah, Welcome!

 

Thanks. My BBS wheels will measure 15x8.5 when I'm done with them.

 

kodiak lips?

i was looking into that for my MR2. its so hard to find some good 4x100 wheels in low offsets. i found a pair of Kosei K1 Racing in 15x8+12 though. now i just need another pair/set. keep us updated on the wheels :thumbup:

 

I honestly dont like Scion's, but your's is clean. Very nice.

Why do you have to be like that? I could care less what you think about xB's in general if you like mine.

On a positive note....

I'm aiming to have my wheels powdercoated in the next couple weeks. then I need to purchase new deep lips and hardware. I heard someone mention Kodiak lips. I found a place in America that makes them called Black Forest Industries, and they cost a little less through them.

Then I gotta get that lip kit fitted and painted. I'm putting it off because I want to do a special exit exhaust so I need to rework the rear lip to accomodate that. Then I need to test fit it all, then paint it.
