Hey everyone, my name is Taylor. I live in the Boston area, but grew up in NC. I'm 17 and am just now getting in the car scene. I haven't needed a car for the past year or so, but do now. I was looking to get my first car and was looking for a little advice. I'm trying to find a classic (anything from an RX-7 to a 300zx to a S13). My budget tops out at about $4,000, but I am more than eager to work on the car after buying it. Not sure if I'm taking too big of a first step. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I think the RX-7 is not a very suitable car (rotary engine). For the first experience, I would choose something more reliable.
