I'm a newbie to the site, but will hopefully enjoy this forum. I am from indiana and drive a 1994 ej1, turbo sohc, it's my work in progress. I know it's a sohc but it takes different strokes for diffferent folks, so try not to rail on me too hard. Thanks guys, here are some pics, enjoy!!!!
Uh, no, it's good for right now, it's dd status, and damn near 300whp in a civic is a monster on the street anyway. So, im gonna hold off on that one for a lil bit.
Oh, you know how it is, these days you don't get any respect unless it has a dohc vtec emblem on the valve cover. I intentionally did this build to prove a point, that a sohc has power potential. Granted, i'm force feeding it air, but still, I make 248wtq, that's where the sohc shines.
Again, it is good to see some actual work done to an engine, than the all too common swap these days. It used to be swaps were rare, now it is the other way around it seems.
Dam dude, you have inspired me! Your car kicks ass!:rocks: I too have an SOHC allthough it's no where near as quick as yours but it's good to know that there is alot of potential under my hood:woot: , I was kinda worried because every one is doing swaps. GREAT WORK!!! Can't wait to see pics of the whole car.:rocks: :rocks: :rocks:
