thx man, i have had hell since i bought the car one week after purchasing it I spun a rod bearing and had to rebuild the motor, it was in the shop for 6 weeks while the guy dicked around with it, i finally got it back and 8 days later the shift stabilizer broke in half causing a horrible transmission failure, went into another shop to get tranny fixed, wheels got stolen... 7 weeks later the car came out and worked well, I drove it for 6 weeks and the block cracked, i got sick of the GSR and replaced it with the B20, it just came out of my friends shop on April 29th and has been running great... i hope it holds up this time, things seem to be looking up :rocks:
Damn man, that sucks that they took your rims, hopefully you will get a vtec head, you say you have a b20z, what kind of head does it have, the p75 or the p8r, does it have a knock sensor? if so DAMN that's a great and rare find

welcome JC finally u joined.... love the pull of the b20z........... i dont have to get a new motor, time to build the b16 instead of gettin a b20b, i toook it to honda they said it was ok, just need to reseal it and do minor stuff
Thanks guys :rocks: hahaha i told you didnt i Arian, im smarter than you think :loser: Its the USDM spec Z2, i will check the head on it tonight, its at a friends shop getting some minor stereo work done.. it is the most powerful B20 motor and i could have got the B20B but i decided for more power and more torque, i did my research and I'm happy i did :devious: Im not sure if its rare but its definately more expensive
Yeah I know man, got the better of the two, but still the z is pretty rare especially if it has the p8r head with the vtec sized valves
hahaha Arian if you want the head you can buy it, if not then i will build it myself for the B20Z-Vtec im not worried about it though im more geared towards autocross so im not worried about highend power, more looking for low-end torque and pull... as of right now im extremely happy with the B20 and the way it runs.... a little oil change and im off to the course this weekend :rocks:
